Inspection Centre

As an accredited inspection centre we carry out inspections of the manufacturing works in addition to the works in-house production control.

This takes place in accordance with the requirements of the respective applicable product Standards and product certification program with emphases on:

• the GS mark award
• the certification with Kiwa MPA's own certificates
• certification by external certification centres and
• certification in accordance with the European Construction Products Regulation

Examples:

• Fire extinguishing equipment in accordance with EN 3-10, EN  and the Product Safety Law (GS formalities)
• Cables and lines for general use in building works in accordance with
  EN 50575
• Spray can extinguishers in accordance with EN 16856 and the Product Safety Law (GS formalities)
• Fire resistant storage cabinets in accordance with EN 14470-1, EN 14470-2 and the Product Safety Law (GS formalities)
• Light fire protection cabinets in accordance with EN 15659 in collaboration with the European Certification Body (ECB) GmbH
• Data rooms and data containers in accordance with EN 1047-2 in collaboration with the European Certification Body (ECB) GmbH
