The tensiometer is used for measuring the surface tension of extinguishing media solutions. The measurement of the interfacial tension to cyclohexane is also possible.
Analytical scales
The precise determination of mass, made possible by means of our analytical scales, is prerequisite for the determination of important key characteristics of fire extinguishing powders. Analytical scales are also necessary for the precise density measurement of extinguishing media in pycnometers.
Air jet sieve
The air jet sieve, together with the analysis sieves of various mesh sizes, is used for determining the grain size distribution of powder extinguishing media.
Recirculation air drying cabinet, laboratory cooling equipment, climate simulation chamber
Several drying cabinets, climate simulation chambers and laboratory cooling chambers enable the simulation of different temperature influences on liquid extinguishing media. The fire extinguishing media laboratory drying cabinet is also used as an aid to observing the characteristics of extinguishing powders.
Ubbelohde viscometer
Ubbelohde viscometers with different measurement ranges are available for determining the kinematic viscosity of liquids with Newtonian flow behaviour.
Areometer, pycnometer
Different areometers and pycnometers enable the determination of the density of liquids of different flow behaviour.
